Privacy Policy

Momo Cleaner (“the app”, “we”, “our”) is a native macOS utility that cleans storage, developer and AI caches, finds duplicates and large files, and checks for known adware — all on your Mac. We designed it to be private by default. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.

The short version

Momo Cleaner does not collect, store, sell, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. Everything the app scans and cleans stays on your device.

Data we collect

None. The app has no servers and no user accounts. It does not read the contents of your files for any purpose other than calculating their size and, where you ask it to, moving them to the Trash. File and scan information never leaves your Mac.

Permissions the app uses

• Folder / Full Disk Access — used only to scan and clean caches and developer files locally. Access is granted by you and used solely on your device.
• Photos — if you use the Photos cleaner, the app reads your library only to find screenshots and large videos. Removed items go to “Recently Deleted”. No photos are uploaded or shared.
• Network — used only for the optional connection speed test, which contacts Cloudflare’s public speed‑test endpoints to measure your connection. No personal data is ever sent, and the app works fully offline otherwise.

In-app purchases

Momo Premium is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information. Purchase status is verified on your device through Apple’s StoreKit.

Support emails

If you contact us for support or to report a bug, your email message (and any details you choose to include, such as the app version and your macOS version) will be visible to us only to answer you. We do not use it for any other purpose.

Children

Momo Cleaner is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. It collects no personal data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
